We are seeking Expressions of Interest for the following roles to meet any potential increase in demand we may experience during the developing Coronavirus COVID-19 situation.    

These roles will be on a needs/casual basis and will change dependent upon the prevailing circumstances to create a  talent pool across the areas of:

  • Allied Health (therapies and sciences)
  • Catering staff
  • Clerical staff
  • Kitchen staff
  • Lifestyle staff
  • Nursing staff
  • Patient Services Assistant/Assistant in Nursing
  • Personal Care Workers
  • Student, (Nursing, Paramedicine, Allied Health)

What clinical skillsets will I need?

Expressions of interest are being sought for all clinical skillsets ie nurses, allied health professionals (therapies and sciences), paramedics who are able to work inward settings.

 Successful applicants may be required to work within a modified scope of practice or within different settings to their usual practice.  This may include completing patient care tasks and interventions that are traditionally held by other professions but are based on transferable skills.


Will I be eligible to take up a clinical role?

There will be some requirements to be considered for certain clinical opportunities depending on your profession, minimum experiences, qualification and/or registration requirements that need to be up to date.


What if my professional registration has lapsed or I have recently retired?

This is not a barrier to you expressing your interest at this stage.  We encourage all trained health practitioners to express their interest even if their registration has lapsed.

The department is also working closely with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APRAH) on the response to coronavirus (COVID-19), including the potential to return or increase practitioners to full registration in a streamlined manner with limited scope of practice.


What non-clinical roles are likely to be available?

Expressions of interest are sought for a wide range of other roles that we need to support the delivery of safe and high-quality care within the Victorian health system.   There are lots of people who work within Victorian health services in important roles that support trained clinical staff.

 Would I be suitable for an administrative and clerical role?

If you have previously worked as a receptionist, administrative and clerical roles, such as providing, administration and/or project support, call centre worker or generally have a strong mix of personal and information technology skills, please register your interest in a potential role within the Euroa Health Inc

Would I be suitable for a domestic or personal care role?

Please consider your skills and experience in undertaking various domestic and personal care roles (as listed below).   These roles provide essential support to our clinical staff across the health service:

  • Porterage/ward clerk
  • Patient Services Assistant/Assistant in Nursing
  • Food Services and Catering
  • Cleaning Service/Environmental Waste Service
  • Trades Assistant/Handyperson
  • Transport
