The Opportunity

We are looking for passionate Endorsed Enrolled Nurses who are interested in work in our aged care services. Working across a variety of shifts including days, afternoon and night shifts, this role has the opportunity for part-time or full-time hours and encompasses the fundamental responsibilities of an Enrolled Nurse, such as:

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, provide care that includes comprehensive client assessment and care planning, in accordance with hospital policy and procedures.
  • Incorporate a holistic approach to patient care, implementing care in response to physical, emotion and social needs using a patient centred model of care.
  • Ensure that quality and standards of care are met to achieve appropriate outcomes through effective assessment, care planning, care implementation and documentation.
  • Develop care plans which are goal orientated for each patient.
  • Assist in discharges/admissions to provide continuum of care through effective discharge planning.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain clinical records accurately in accordance with organisational guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Recognise changes in the patient’s condition, take necessary action and document the variation in the plan of care.
  • Have a knowledge and understanding of advanced care planning principles and promote these values.

What you will need to be successful:

• Hold current Enrolled Nurse Registration with AHPRA
• Hold or be willing to obtain current NDIS Worker’s Check and Working With Children Check
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Experience in aged care nursing
• Knowledge of nursing and current clinical issues
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
