The Bowerbird Op Shop located in the heart of the main street, at 53 Binney Street Euroa has been raising significant funds for Euroa Health since opening in September 2009.
Notably, in 2021 Euroa Health moved to an electronic Medication Management system and using computers on wheels, allowing care at the bedside, this project and equipment were fully funded by Op Shop funds.
Euroa Health makes regular purchases of equipment for the facility, using op shop funds including; beds, wheelchairs and other capital items, like commercial kitchen appliances, trailers for the maintenance staff, computerised temperature checking devices to support COVID monitoring. We thank both the Volunteers of the Op Shop and the wider community for the ongoing support they provide to the service.
If you are in the area, please pop in and grab a bargain.
The volunteer team at the shop are keen to grow their team so if you are interested in being part of the Op Shop team click here.
Donations to the Op Shop
It is preferred that donations are left during business hours, however there is room for donations to be left at the rear door accessed via Bakehouse Lane from Kirkland Avenue Euroa outside of hours.
The Bowerbird Op Shop accepts donations that are in good condition, but we ask the community to not leave goods that are unable to be sold as this means that we have to dispose of them at a cost the service.
