Our History

The Euroa Bush Nursing Hospital was established in 1927 and is continuing to operate from our current site since 1929 and is today known as Euroa Health Inc.

Euroa Health has supported our community throughout the years during significant events like the second world war, the Southern Aurora train crash and the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Our Acute Hospital remains one of only five Victorian Bush Nursing Hospital’s and has been extended to provide for additional beds.

Over time, additional services and redevelopments have been added to the site and we have also seen the construction of buildings known as Amaroo, Euroaville, Gilburn house and most recently GraniteHill Aged Care which has expanded the services Euroa Health to now provide to the community.

Euroa Health is proud of its rich history and still today being here to provide high quality individualised care for our community when it needs it most.
