Established and managed his own business in the meat industry in 1975 which he managed for 30 years before purchasing a farm in Gooram in 2001.
He now lives in Gooram with his wife Sally and is passionate about the wellbeing and future of Euroa and its health services.
Michael’s employment comprised 42 years as a teacher including 20 years in leadership roles within the Victorian Education Department.
He is married to Cathy and they have three adult children and one grandson. The Bells have resided in Rochester, Warracknabeal, Swan Hill and Euroa. Michael’s commitment to the community is evidenced through 45 years as a member of Apex, Lions International and Rotary International and he is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Euroa.
Sarah Treloar is a Chartered Accountant, beginning her career in external financial audit for Ernst & Young in Melbourne, moving on to the non-profit sector in Melbourne and regional Victoria. She has experience across industries including Non-Profit Community Health, Homelessness, Mining, Oil Refining and Advertising. Sarah currently works in tertiary education, managing the online delivery of Bachelor of Business and Finance subjects for Australian Universities. Sarah resides in the regional Victorian town of Euroa, where she is an active community member, holding various formal volunteer roles, including Board Member of Euroa Health.
Paul is a former solicitor, business man and farmer who retired to Euroa from the NSW/ACT region in 2017. He has also lived and worked extensively in London and the US. He brings wide experience of commercial and administrative law, as well as business acumen from his time as a company director.
Jim Shovelton has been a member of the Euroa Health Board since 2010 and served as Chair between 2012 and 2015. He farms locally and operates as an agricultural consultant and is General Manager of Meridian Agriculture. He has a Bachelor of Agriculture Science and a Diploma of Project Management. He is currently Chair of the Quality and Risk Committee and has previously served as Chair of the Granite Hill Fund Raising Committee.
